What Happens When A Client Works With Me
When I begin work with a client, we review her personal food, health and wellness goals. This starts with a review of her constitution from a Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic standpoint. And moves into a general overview on how to eat “clean”, meaning unprocessed or minimally processed foods that are closely connected to the earth. I review important markers of health - both from a Western perspective and an eastern perspective. We review three main tenets: cleansing the body of toxins, nourishing the body with nutrients and whole foods, and providing pure enjoyment through taste. These tenets are embodied through both Western and Eastern (Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurvedic) traditions . Lastly, I provide self-care templates that have been around for thousands of years through ancient practices.
Through this process - the client will receive guidance on how to eat a meal that suites her body and constitution, set of grocery lists, important certifications and recipes.
My main emphasis is on nourishment - so this is best for women who are looking to nourish their body, in order to feel safer and more whole within themselves through the use of food.
